lxr.EORI - Economic Operator Registration Information Services
lxr.EORI is part of the eXtensible Economic Operators Services (XEOS) group. It implements the Economic Operator Registration Information (EORI) database and related synchronisation services in full conformity with EC specifications.
lxr.EORI is flexible enough to also support non-EORI records (e.g. companies registered in a country but using a foreign EORI number, companies registered in EFTA, etc.).
The lxr.EORI architecture consists of the following service oriented building blocks:
> Service Inventory describing the available business services required to comply with the National EORI functional requirements.
> A set of Java-based application components implementing those business services and deployed in the Oracle WebLogic application server.
> A set of message flows, composing those services and ensuring the reliable exchanges of information between them, deployed in the Oracle Service Bus.
> A set of service orchestrations, composing other services according to the EOS/EORI business processes, deployed in the Oracle WebLogic application server, along with the backend services.
The adherence to the basic principles of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) offers the following benefits:
> Autonomous Services that can be deployed in a flexible way.
> Composable and Reusable Services that can be orchestrated according to current and future requirements.
> Interoperable Services that can be interfaced using standard protocols and standardized service contracts.
> Discoverable Services aligned to the business architecture.
