Free central testing facilities for Economic Operators.
Vivansa (with the support of Porthus) will launch end of February 2010 a new service, called EMCS Validation Centre (EVC), intended for EU Economic Operators (concerned with the computerisation of the exchanges of excisable goods), which aims at providing "free of charge" central testing facilities to help Economic Operators in successfully achieving the alignment of their IT to the related EMCS business processes (as enforced by EU legislation). ELLiXXiR, the eCustoms Community Initiative.
Vivansa has launched a new initiative, called ELLiXXiR, as part of its R&D programme. ELLiXXiR aims at fostering the cooperation between all actors of the electronic Customs business (i.e. national Customs authorities, Economic Operators, European Commission, Customs experts, contracted IT Service Providers) by providing them with a reliable, independent, and structured resources centre to support the implementation of their trans-European eCustoms applications.
