XSIZE passes EMCS Mode-3 testing at LU Customs
LU Customs is at the forefront of first EMCS exchanges between national administrations.
The Administration des Douanes et Accises (ADA) in Luxembourg has successfully passed on 25th November 2009 the EMCS MODE-3 Conformance Testing (CT), which aims at validating EMCS exchanges scenarios with other Customs administrations through CCN/CSI.
The partner administrations during the MODE-3 CT were CY Customs and AT Customs.
The ADA's EMCS installation runs the XSIZE Core Bundle distribution (including XSIZE NEA, XSIZE Gateway, and XSIZE Portal modules) which has proven its flexibilty, reliability and capacity to scale accross complex environments.
Next phase (MODE3+) planned in January 2010 will involve a set of candidate Economic Operators accessing EMCS on-line facilities (through ADA's portal) to submit/receive EMCS declarations.
